When you're a multishipper
(WIP)
GeraYen, feat. Jaskier. Or is it Geraskier feat. Yennifer? You decide.
_________
Dialogue, Panel 2:
Geralt: Jaskier... What are you doing?
Jaskier: Being your third wheel.
Geralt: Third wheels are unnecessary.
Jaskier: Only until you burst a tire :)))
I can imagine Jaskier grinning threatening at Yennifer as he says it.
One of the fundamental truths that the universe loved to remind Jaskier of was that he was utterly useless. Unworthy, even.
It was only cemented in his mind the countless times that Geralt had to save him from a monster, or even worse, a random thug in a tavern.
He had no true talents other than his words, his music, and what use were they really?
He couldn’t save anyone with words or a lively tune. And yet he was surrounded by the most powerful people on the Continent.
Geralt of Rivia, the famed Witcher, the Butcher of Blaviken, the White Wolf. A mutant, a man with unnatural power, whose mastery of the sword was unparalleled. Yennefer of Vengerberg, one of the most powerful mages who walked the earth. A woman who could raze cities and read minds.
They were a love story for the ballads, two powerful, beautiful people brought together by destiny, by fate.
And then there was Jaskier. A simple bard. A human bard. Whose greatest talent was managing to keep a steady note even while drunk.
Gods, he really was worthless, wasn’t he.
In the presence of gods and monsters, what worth is a man?
It was part of the reason he had never come between Yennefer and Geralt. Because he loved Geralt, and he knew that he was unworthy of him. Geralt deserved someone who could keep up with him, someone who could challenge him. He deserved someone powerful and as immortal as he was.
Someone who wasn’t Jaskier.
Every time he saw Geralt, he had to stop himself. Had to hide the love which encompassed his entire being.
Every word he said to him, every move he made was perfectly calculated to make sure that he never knew.
It was an endless torture, but a sweet one.
And so the next time they encountered Yennefer, he left.
He stood outside the tent where they lay together, and whispered his final goodbye to the wind.
It was what Geralt deserved.
Soulmate au
Soulmate AU where you have your soulmates eye color on your wrist. Geralt and Jaskier meeting. Realizing there soulmates. Jaskier taking Geralt’s gauntlets off of the first time and they hold hands for the first time.
The color on both their wrists changes before their eyes to purple. Because in finding each other they changed their fate, and now it includes one Yennifer of Vengerburg.
That day is the first day she gets a color. Two in fact. Blue and Gold swirling together.
I would like to see a healthy throuple Geralt/Yennifer/Jaskier relationship.
(The initial discussion wouldn't necessarily go smoothly, though...)
____________
Jaskier: We are not a throuple! A throuple is a relationship between three people who love each other equally. That's clearly not us.
Geralt, matter-of-fact: I love both of you equally.
Jaskier: It doesn't count if you're the only one, Geralt.
Yennifer: He's right. This isn't a relationship, it's a glorified three-way.
Geralt: Are you asking me to choose?
Jaskier: Yes!
*At same time* Yennifer: No!
Geralt: What do you say, Yenn?
Yennifer: Geralt, I have no problem with you being with him and anyone else whenever you want without me in the picture. But even though I know that you love me, a part of me is afraid that if we force you to choose between strictly one or the other, it will be him. And in all honesty I would rather share you with the bard than not have you at all.
Geralt: So what do we do?
Jaskier:...
Yennifer:...
Yennifer: I'll sleep with Jaskier. Without Geralt.
Geralt & Jaskier: What?!
Yennifer: It will make us even. We've both been with Geralt plenty of times on our own, it's time Jaskier and I try it for ourselves.
Geralt, amused: It's fine by me.
Jaskier: Oh no no no nooo! Dipping my spoon into the witches caldron is not going to make me fall in love with you, Yenn.
Yennifer: But it might make you less afraid of me. And it will make Geralt happy, won't it?
Geralt: Hmmm.
Yennifer: Think about it.
Jaskier: ...
Yennifer: Jaskier?
Jaskier: Yes?
Yennifer: That's the first time you've called me "Yenn".
