The only GoT-Theories we really need

It’s a German article so I’ll just translate the theories for my lovely Jonsa fam

1) The merchant Jol Merton from King’s Landing is unfaithful to his wife as can be deduced from the 10 seconds he is on screen.

2) Brienne of Tarth has haemorrhoids and that is why she looks pained while riding.

3) Batman won’t be the last minute saviour of Westeros as can be deduced from the fact that the name Bruce Wayne never comes up in the series.

4) Jaime and Cersei are twins - a highly suspicious theory because there is no way a popular show like GoT would show incest and not lose viewers.

5) Daenerys’ dragons, the Night King, Bronn, the Wall and author GRRM himself are only one person. This is obvious if you look at their noses.

6) The existence of fan theories proves that fans have no life.

It's me, Ilargizuri ... der deutsche Fan der offensichtlich kein Englisch kann. Ich dachte "delulu" wäre eine Art Beleidigung für Leute die generell Shippen und wollte zum Ausdruck bringen das dann AUCH Jonerys-Fans delulus sein müssen. Mein Wörterbuch kannte das Wort nicht, mein Bekannter der viel besser Englisch kann als ich, kannte das Wort nicht. Also habe ich versucht aus dem Kontext heraus zu begreifen WAS es bedeutet. Tut mir leid. Dein letzter Post hat dankenswerter Weise alles geklärt.

die Probleme von “English as a Second Language”, passiert mir auch gelegentlich. Hätte ich auch drauf kommen können, dass Du möglicherweise das Wort nicht kennst.

Solche Abkürzungen/Verballhornungen stehen dummerweise nie in Wörterbüchern und wenn man das Wort nicht kennt, auf dem es basiert, steht man dumm da.

Delulu kommt von delusional und man könnte es auf Deutsch am besten mit “völlig balla, balla” übersetzen denke ich. Das würde die Herablassung und Infantilisierung, die in “delulu” steckt, wahrscheinlich am besten wiedergeben.

Also, alles geklärt. ;-)

Hello Ilargizuri here, I am recently translating my Meta on AO3 in English and so far I came to Chapter six, and I listened to your Critic and rewrote my comparison with the Molotow-Ribbentropp-Pact, again, thx for your Help. I also had to rewrite some Chapters because I was able to do more research, Hope you like it. Blogs like yours help me to go on with it and hopefully I will finish my Meta and the Video before Season 8. Thx for just being a nice and good tumblr-Blog.

Hei, tut mir leid das ich schon wieder nicht auf Englisch schreibe, aber ich bin mit dem Handy unterwegs und mein Englisch ist ... naja, nicht gerade das beste, das hatten wir aber schon mal ;) Meine Meinung zu Daenerys findest du auf AO3 unter dem Titel "Daenerys Targaryen - Heldin der anderen Seite" gibt es derzeit nur auf Deutsch, eine Freundin hilft mir derzeit es zu Übersetzen.
