Ram cichlids are found in the slow, warm rivers of Venezuela and Columbia. Best kept in pairs as they are monogamous (unlike some fish keepers). Supremely lovely and lovable.

random aquarium planning musings

So I'm wondering about what to put with my future peacock gudgeon school (I have 2 now and plan on getting 6-8) and I'm thinking maybe a pair of German Rams? Cause they're friggin beautiful and at work we regularly get nice angel-fin(?) balloon ones that look really healthy. But yeah I bet they'd look amazing with the peacocks assuming their care lines up. Also anyone ever heard of/kept Okefenokee Pygmy Sunfish? They look adorable and teeny and I saw them with an aquabid seller and I kinda..want them now? They might go great with my nano shrimpies
