Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp baking soda. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 cup buttermilk. 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 1 large egg. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 cup shredded coconut. 1/4 cup chopped pecans. 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix the egg, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. After adding the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, thoroughly mix them together. Add the semisweet chocolate chips, chopped pecans, and shredded coconut. Grease a donut pan, then pour batter into each cavity, filling it about two thirds full. A toothpick inserted into a donut should come out clean after baking for 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven. After a few minutes, let the donuts cool in the pan before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling. For the German chocolate topping, you can prepare a mixture of 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk, 2 tablespoons butter, 1/2 cup shredded coconut, and 1/4 cup chopped pecans. Drizzle over the cooled donuts after heating and stirring until thickened. Savor the mouthwatering German Chocolate Donuts!
