Aph Fighting Headcanons: Germany/Ludwig
Ludwig’s a very calculated fighter. His main weapons of choice are his guns or his fists. He also knows how to wield a sword but in comparison to skilled fighters he’s pretty clumsy.
From the first moment Ludwig meets a potential threat he’s analysing everything. That persons mannerisms, the room and everyone in the room. All are taken into account.
So when he’s actually in a fight he’s prepared. He’s already seen what their dominant hand is and analysed how likely they are to fight dirty. He’s already three steps ahead before the fight even starts.
In a fight, he’s just as observant. He notices all the small mistakes someone is making and sees any moves that person is repeating. It makes it easy for him to spot an opening and strike back. (A skill he’s perfected while training other people.)
This is vital for him. He always carries a knife on him but hand to hand fighting is his forte. When fighting against someone with a sword or a knife, his ability to predict their next moves is his best asset.
His defense is also impressive. He can usually see attacks coming and thus is able to avoid/block those attacks. It takes a lot of skill to actually land a hit on him regardless of the weapon.
