I'd like to know more about Gertrudis please
She's not ms boom since we already have one but is she like gerson's sister or something?
If she is i bet in the UT war she was always helping out everyone away from the battlefield and was genuenly sort of a badass. Bet she bashed someone's skull once and that's how she got the matching eye scar with gerson
According to the creator of Gertrudis @melatonin-t (who made both her sprite and her concept as a whole) :
"In Undertale she was the best beer provider for Grillby's for some years. There were others too, but hers felt special since they were homemade and not mass produced. This also means hers was a bit more expensive and less in quantity, but it was still better. She knows how to make it because she stole a recipe from a human factory before the monsters were sealed and then added her own twists to it. Her last name is still Boom because she's Gerson's sister, and the fact Gerson is a Boom already lets us know that.
She never married a man (lesbian) so her last name stayed as Boom (although I'm unsure that monsters have the same system as [some] humans where the woman takes the last name of a man, I hope they don't because that system is kinda lame). At first after the war she had a bit of human hatred/resentment which is normal, but I think she overcame it with the years after."
These are their exact words regarding the character of Gertrudis. I personally also see her as a frequent babysitter for Togore in deltarune, having a grandmother/grandson kind of relationship, and personally headcanon that she trained Gerson herself, being his older sister. She is also still alive in both Undertale and Deltarune.
