Gervasoni's design has been chosen for a project with a strongly eclectic style. A bold and contemporary interior that pays tribute to the Italian philosophy of ‘beauty’. The "Showroom" is a new bar designed by the Udine (Italy) based architect Edoardo Petri, recently opened in Shanghai. A meeting place between two different cultures and hemispheres: the space is designed to make customers feel emotions and to stimulate their creativity. Various furnishings from the Gervasoni collections were chosen, designed to dialogue with each other while maintaining a highly distinctive character. From the Gervasoni lamps Brass, Spin and Bolla collections to the coffee tables in different shapes, colours and materials Inout, Moon, Brick and Next collections, to various upholstered furniture with removable covers intended to match the bar wallpaper Loll, Grey, Ghost and More collections. To create his project, the architect opted for high-end furnishings to offer an all-round experience in which you can enjoy relaxing and social moments, while appreciating designer furniture. The allure of an exotic mood is the inspiration for the Gervasoni Jeko collection. The Jeko tables, sofas, and armchairs feature a frame in EcoTeak, a material obtained from recycled teak beams and elements recovered from the demolition of traditional wooden homes on the island of Java, Indonesia. The recovered elements are cut to size, repaired with recycled wood, assembled and sanded to highlight the original grain, and finally hand-polished with hemp cloths and shavings. Its curvy profile is completed by soft, cosy cushions.
