Arbitrary Token of the Week: Dragon (ALA)
This week’s arbitrary token is Vance Kovac’s 4/4 red Dragon creature token with flying, created by Broodmate Dragon from Shards of Alara. Putting out 8 points of power in the air is quite formidable, which explains why Broodmate Dragon was a staple in most Jund decks back when it was in Standard. I remember back when my brother and I were still relatively new to Magic, we purchased a couple of Commander (2011) decks at Walmart for $20 a piece, and one of them came with a Broodmate Dragon! If we knew any better (and if we had the money), we would’ve bought all those Kaalia and Zedruu decks on the shelf immediately.
