Something about the way Lucas and Dustin start to describe to El what a friend is and Mike interrupts with a way deeper definition.

Something about the conversation being about them describing Will and Dustin says "you lend them your cool comic books" because it's the last thing he offered Will and Lucas adds to Mike's comment "spit swears", but Mike repeatedly interrupts those to go "Will? How would I define my relationship with Will? Well I guess when you're deeply in love with someone and would die for them, I suppose. That's what friendship means to me."

Meanwhile Dustin and Lucas are like "when you share hobbies and wanna hang out" (which is correct, I mean both are. What Mike says can be platonic but the CONTRAST...hmmm)

Dustin: "you give them your toys"

Mike: "You'd do anything for them"

That IS friendship, but it's also another classic example of "how does Mike talk about Will and how do the people around him talking about Will"
