so i super impulsively read at a poetry slam tonight and i didn't win or place or anything, but i'm really proud of myself for just reading. idk, the atmosphere was super chill and i wish i was able to get to more events because i'd love to be more involved with the poetry scene here, but the bus schedule is not very conducive to that.

idk i had a good time and didn't actually do terribly and i think i'd like to continue to write and perform spoken word more earnestly is the moral here.
