Mag Spin :)
Lack of motivation is starting to win in my epic movie scene battle to write Blood Moon Possession, so have this for now.
One of my favorite things about how Danny treats the group is when it comes to Twilight in his wolf form. He treats him both like a person and as a dog. Ish?? Danny’s been around big dogs a few times before. He hugs them, wrestles them, and sometimes talks to them as if they’re people.
Sure, sometimes the baby voice comes out, but who doesn’t find it funny when you ask a dog “How’s your day?” and they let out this heavy, disappointed sigh? Danny does the same with “Wolfie” and avoids the baby voice. He hugs him, shakes his paw, tells him to smile for the camera, picks him up and holds him like a baby, and has conversations with him. It’s not too different from how he’s interacted with big dogs before, but the others sometimes perceive this as treating him more like a person. And yes, he loves to play with him.
Twilight’s fairly surprised by this, but it’s definitely not unwelcome. It’s a bit new, in a surprisingly good way. Even fun, sometimes. Just imagine Twilight in wolf form trying to wake Danny up by nudging him, but he just starts laughing like a little kid and tries to push his head away. He thinks it’s all a game. Well, now it is a game. Get up, Spooks!
Once, Twilight was laying on his bag and when he didn’t get up, Danny threatened to spin him. Twilight, stubborn and confused, huffed at him. So Danny reached down and pushed against his side to spin him around and around.
Danny: Withhold my backpack? Get spun.
