My personal rankings of the Get Scared albums (+ my favs from each)
(Ranked from least favourite to favourite)
I love them all so this was hard!

#6- Built For Blame, Laced With Shame
My least favourite of the Get Scared albums is this one. Honestly, I really like this album, but there obviously has to be a last place. This album was made when Joel Faviere was the vocalist, rather than Nicholas Matthews. While Joel has a great voice, I personally prefer Nick (and I also might be biased against Joel due to... Circumstances). While it's a really good album, it doesn't feel much like Get Scared. My favourite song from this album is Cynical Skin.
#5- Best Kind Of Mess
It feels illegal putting this album so low down. I love this album and it's an absolute masterpiece. If someone wanted to get into the band, this is what I would reccomend first. It contains all of Get Scared's most iconic songs such as Sarcasm, Voodoo and Whore, making it a stand-out album for both the band and the fans. It's only so low because I just prefer the other albums. My favourite song from this album is Drown: it's my go-to for tough times.
#4- Cheap Tricks and Theatrics (+ B-Sides)
I'm a big fan of "raw" music, so I naturally love this album. It sounds so organic and real, and I especially love hearing the earlier versions of their more famous songs from Best Kind Of Mess like Voodoo (in this album, "If Only She Knew Voodoo Like I Do") and Sarcasm ("Setting Yourself Up For Sarcasm"). I even prefer these versions to the Best Kind Of Mess ones. The B-sides are also really good and I love that early sound. My favourite song from this album is Not At All.
#3- Demons
This album marks the band's shift into a heavier, more metalcore-leaning sound. I love it. The sound of this album is incredible and it's lyrics are beautiful. Nick's vocals in this album, especially his growls in Relax, Relapse, really hit the spot for me. Its so hard picking a favourite from this album as they're all so incredible, but I'd have to go with Demons. It features one of my favourite lyrics of all time- "am I alive or just breathing?"
#2- Everyone's Out To Get Me
In second place is Everyone's Out To Get Me. I'm currently listening to this album as I do these rankings. I love the album cover, the vocals, the overall sound. It's such a beautiful album, and it all flows so nicely when you listen to it from start to finish. Something that really made me look at this album in a different light was when I first heard Nick explain what it was about- the backlash he faced after returning to the band. This album is so unique, while still having the iconic features of Get Scared. My favourite song from this album is Told Ya So.
🏆 #1- The Dead Days 🏆
First place goes to The Dead Days. This is my favourite Get Scared album, and probably one of my favourite albums of all time. The themes and the lyrics in this album are so honest, I can only describe it with a word used by the band themselves in The Dead Days Documentary: it's organic. It's the truthfulness of this album which attracts me to it. The instruments are amazing, especially the bass in Bad Things, which starts off the whole album in such an interesting way. As well as this, I could talk for LITERAL YEARS about the vocals in this album. Lloyd's vocal contributions created such a perfect contrast with Nick's voice, I'm so glad that he was encouraged to add his vocals. Nicholas' vocal skills have really improved as well, the evolution of his voice is really clear here, especially in Like It Or Not and The Dead Days- There's something about his voice in those songs (and the whole album) that you don't hear in previous albums, and I just love. My favourite song in this album is also my favourite Get Scared song overall- Give Up My Ghost. This song sounds amazing and the lyrics are honest and real (fun fact: this is also Nick's favourite song he's done!)

Anyway, those are my rankings!! It probably sounds all over the place because I'm not a professional music critic, just an insanely committed fan who wanted to so share his opinions.
