I need to get out of here

It feels like I am slowly dying here. Sometimes even breathing is hard and I just know that I won’t be able to make it here. Maybe if I just disappear for a while and find out who I really am and what I want things could be okay again. Everywhere around here are bad memories and I just can’t take it any longer. I need to be happy and I need to go to a place where I am not constantly reminded of what happened to me and where I don’t have to play a role or wear a mask just to survive. I don’t want to pretend that I’m fine anymore, instead I want to truly be okay. Or at the very least be able to show it if I am not okay. And sadly that is not an option here. Because everyone expects me to behave in a certain way and to be the person they want me to be. I just want to break free of that and start to be myself. I need to learn who I am and who this ‘me’ really is and what she likes or doesn’t like instead of letting people tell me what I do and like. And I know now that I won’t be able to discover myself let alone be myself when I  am still here. So I’m gonna finish school and then I am going somewhere far far away.

Getting out of here

The thought of getting out of this place is very vivid. But I ain’t sure if we are going to make it. It seems nuts but I wanted to breakfree. The chains and the noises are too loud that all I wanted to do is put those blockers on my ears to stop listening.
