Ravens 47, Bills 3 : Week 1 - Recap & Grades - Offense : Kenneth Dixon rushes for 44 yards on 13 carries, he averages 3.4 yards per carry & scores a TD. Joe Flacco passes for 236 yards & 3 TD's. The Offensive line is solid as well. Grade - A+ Defense : This unit was swarming, they pick off 2 passes & register 6 sacks, including 2 by CB Tavon Young. They hold Buffalo to 33 total yards & no first downs the entire 1st half. The Bills finish w/ 70 yards passing in the game. Grade - A+ Special Teams : Janarion Grant returns a Punt 51 yards to set up a Field Goal by Justin Tucker, who connects on both of his attempts from 41 & 39 yards. Sam Koch punts it away 5 times for 257 yards, an average of 51.4 yards per punt. Grade - A Coaching : The coaches had a great strategy coming into this game, this team looked focused & played well in all 3 phases. Buffalo never even had a chance & couldn't even move the ball for most of the game. Ravens 23, Texans 16 : Week 12 - Recap & Grades - Offense : Another poor performance by this unit. Joe Flacco passes for 141 yards & Alex Collins rushes for 60 yards on 16 carries, an average of 3.8 yards & 1 TD. The running game was solid, but the passing game has got to step it up. Grade - C- Defense : A great performance by this group once again. This group kept didn't allow a TD for the final 51 minutes & registers 2 sacks, both by Terrell Suggs. They hold Houston to 3 FG's, but do allow 303 total yards. Grade - B Special Teams : Another solid performance. P Sam Koch tosses a 22 yard pass to WR Chris Moore on a fake Punt & averages 51.3 yards on 8 Punts. Justin Tucker connects on all 3 of his FG attempts. Grade - A+ Coaching : Good job by John Harbaugh & the coaching staff, but they still were only sound in 2 out of 3 phases. The play calling has to be better & the Ravens have to be able to move the ball through the air. Ravens 23, Texans 16 : Texan Hold Em - The Ravens Defense carries them to a huge win, in a game that they had to have. Houston moves up the field on the first drive thanks to a flurry of Ravens penalties & RB Lamar Miller runs it in from 4 yards out to put Houston ahead 7-0 after 1. Buck Allen runs it in from 10 yards out to tie the game & Alex Collins runs it in from 8 yards out to give the Ravens the lead 14-7. Ka'imi Fairbarn kicks a 25 yard FG to make it 14-10 & Justin Tucker boots a 53 yarder just before the half to make it 17-10. Fairbarn adds a 36 yarder in the 3rd to make it 17-13, but Tucker kicks another from 31 yards to make it 20-13 in the 4th. Texans QB Tom Savage is hit from behind by Terrell Suggs & fumbles on the Houston 48, it is recovered by Willie Henry on the 49. It leads to a 49 yard FG by Tucker to give the Ravens the 23-16 lead.
