Keto Way Of Eating I've been tracking all my stats via the smart scale, which by the way is awesome. One thing I stumbled upon is my total bone weight, which the scale provides (some small degree of variation in measurements). My total bone mass is 6.9lbs, which means even if I had double the bone mass, it still wouldn't be enough to make up the difference that I thought I was carrying twice as much bone mass than I actually am. Here are some measurements that I'm tracking with help from tools. BMI: 29.8% - I used to go by this measurement, but it's just a guideline, and not close to my actual. (obese) BFP: 22.8% (average body weight) MMP: 71.4% TBW: 57% on the low average side- hydrate more. Bone mass: 7.9lbs (not really what I expected). BMR: 2,132 kcal Metabolic age: 48 :( so sad Visceral fat: 12 high Subcutaneous fat: 23.9% very high It's important for me to maintain or gain in muscle mass, which is why I always make my protein macro. My fat indexes have steadily declined, but my "gut" area is coming off slow. I bought a ketone blood monitor, which is definitely better than any other method of determining ketosis, which is key to all this. It's been critical in seeing how my body responds to specific amounts of carbs, and checking 30 to 60 minutes later. Yes it gets expensive for those test things, but I won't do it for ever. Just looking enough to learn my body. Here's a current picture. Stay motivated out there. Life Event: today I went from Obese (BMI) to average. Huge psychology uplight. #newyearresolution #gettingtrim #summerbody #trasmormation #kickingass (at Happy Valley, Oregon) https://www.instagram.com/p/B66Tekhn7Jo/?igshid=1p3923upbg7h
