Game Jam: Global Flavoured
So, I participated in Global Game Jam 2018, and oh boy, it was a blast! Here’s the end result:

GGJ, смена движка и pixel art
Тезис: нужно начать регулярно работать над проектом
Global Game Jam
New Engine?
Думаю между Defold и Godot. Пока выгрывает второй только из-за того, что Defold как-то мутно всё хранит в облаке. Может их выкупять китайцы и все мои искходники уплывут да, они кому-то нужны
Pixel art
Да, пока просто изучаю. А то купил планшет для osu!, нужно же оправдывать покупки!
P.S. Теперь на аве призрачек :3
Global game jam 2018 is over and this is what we have created during this weekend!
We worked in a group of 6 people and I made graphics for the game :)
You play as a ghost bird and for some reason haunting your old bird school, the game concept was to fly around as the ghost and snatch the bird students’s phone messages and deliver them to another bird student. Which can be both good or bad. But we didn’t have time to fix everything so it’s more or less just flying around, still feel free to try it out here: https://globalgamejam.org/2018/games/bmsbird-message-service
END OF TRANSMISSION - 2018 - Unreal Engine 4
EARTH IS DESTROYED. FIND THE LIGHT.
Our GGJ18 puzzle game, where you play as an alien aligning ancient light pylons to extract data from a ruined Earth.
I worked on the project with 5 others, my focus being on programming and particle systems.
#GlobalGameJam2018
This was my second experience of #gamejam.
Our host was OldSkullGames studio.
#transition was the subject of this #GlobalGameJam.
This experience was way much better than the previous one. I felt chill during the whole event.
This time we were 3 : 2 programmers and me. My team is in the left corner in the bottom (Photo by OldSkullGames).
-=You can get our game here=-
Our major goal was to make a simple game that works, and only then to add some features/tutorials and other stuff.
Our working process was well-managed. This time, I asked the programmers which graphic element I had to provide at each stage of our work. By doing so, I managed not to exhaust myself during these 48 hours by making a lot of useless stuff.
This Game Jam and my team mates gave me an opportunity to try a new graphic technique which I will soon present on my Behance page : I merged watercolor painting with digital art. It was appreciated it in our game.
During this Game Jam I learned an important lesson : even if you want to make a simple 2D game, you have to be a little bit familiar with 3D technics. So I am more motivated now learning #Blender. Besides, 3D games with fancy graphics look really awesome, like this game (try with joysticks) created by our colleagues.
Are there anyone who learned the 3D modeling/animation by himself/herself ? How was it ?

WE DID IT! In 48 hours we made a game! Thank you to Christian and Jeff for being stellar tea-mates. If anyone wants to play CIVIL DISCOURSE you can check it out here: https://globalgamejam.org/2018/games/civil-discourse
