Old drawings of villains from my book with memes and stuff i’ve reblogged to @aatgm that reminded me of them
(ID: drawings of three of the poster’s original characters, but drawn as if they are Sonic characters. One of them is a green anglerfish with long light green hair and a dress, a glowing lure, and earrings on her fins. She’s smiling smugly over her shoulder, and is labeled as “Nimas the anglerfish”. The second is a sea angel, a translucent slug-like creature with fins that look like wings. They have dark blue hair in a bun, a brown trench coat, and a black turtleneck. There are golden shapes under their translucent light blue skin. They have their arms behind their back and are looking to the side with a tired expression, and their label says “Shuram the sea angel”. The third is a red spider crab with a gray mask covering his face and a dark red coat with a high collar. He has a shell on his back and four long, spindly limbs coming off of it, both of which are red with white markings, and his hands are claws. He is crouching and glaring straight ahead. He is labeled “Ghanil the spider crab (sorry)”. End ID.)
Here’s the angel villains from AATGM as Sonic characters! I was kinda debating whether to post these or not, because the only design I’m really happy with is Shuram. as you can see i was especially embarrassed by Ghanil, lol. i don’t think he really reads as Sonic-inspired at all. also this one is digital because i was too lazy to break out the colored pencils. these jerks don’t deserve the effort anyway
AATGM Infinity Train AU, because i had to. only problem is the simon thing is gonna get confusing fast. also here’s some quick snippets establishing what the rest of the main cast is doing:
AATGM villains as posts on the Neopets forums.
i’m taking this novel very seriously.
i’ve been thinking about the villains in my story a lot lately. here’s some angels (not the good kind)
shuram is the angelic leader i think about the most. they are very arrogant and irritable and try to mask their petty meanness with a friendly, stoic demeanor, and i just like characters like that. they probably have the most depth, which might be explored more in future books. but i need to think more about the other angel leaders.
nimas, i think, is basically one of those toxic “empaths” you see in astrology forums or wherever who thinks they’re the authority on everything anyone feels. she’s just as petty and cruel as shuram and ghanil, but she’s much more up front about it, although she attacks people emotionally rather than physically. she’s not fake, that’s the nicest thing one can say about her. she’s authentically terrible, and she makes it worse by being so convinced she’s the nicest, most charitable person in existence. like the other angelic leaders, she has mastery of a specific type of magic. hers is called cherubim magic (for now; i’m thinking i might pivot away from biblical-based terms for the magic in the future). it focuses mainly on contorting people’s perceptions of reality, and if it’s powerful enough, it can even utilize the placebo effect to cause or heal pain and disease. (shuram’s magic is called seraphim and focuses on contorting space for observation and travel, btw. kinda like the beholding in tma but i swear i thought of this in like 2018 long before i heard of tma)
ghanil, i’ve probably thought the least about. he’s the muscle of the group. he’s usually very quiet and calm, but he’s the most terrifying when angered. he basically led the angel army against the demons in the war and he now spends his time thinking up ways to make the captured demons miserable. despite how angry, brutal and sadistic he can be, though, he usually is the one mediating between shuram and nimas when they fight, because although those two can’t stand each other, they both respect him. his magic, ophanim magic, is of course focused on physical destruction and can create natural disasters. in this universe, some natural disasters are caused by ghanil taking out his anger on the earth.
