#GHDUO - The Winner of Gran Hermano DUO is --> Maria <-- 🏆👏🙂
After 94 Days the 1st Edition of Gran Hermano Duo came to an end and the Grand Finale took place on Thursday 4/11/2019 with Maria beating Kiko to take the Win - She became the 1st GHDUO Winner. This edition was more of the same as #GHVIP6 where most of the Housemates repeated the Same Stupid Bully Strategy where they ganged up on one Housemate and just like in the GHVIP Edition all of the Bullies were Evicted one after the other. When will they Learn? Probably never - Many in the House and outside of the House believed Maria was making herself the Victim or atleast taking advantage of the situation and that’s like saying the Victim of a stabbing ran into the Stabbers knife then blamed the stabber of attacking her when it was clear she was getting stabbed from all angles.
There is no justification for a Gang of Bully housemates making fun or attacking a Single Housemate like a Flock of Vultures. Maria won because she fought back and took on the Bullies - She wasn't anything like Miriam Saavedra Winner of GHVIP6 who was more entertaining in her approach taking down the Bullies in her edition among other things but Maria also did a good job of not backing down or letting them turn her into a True Victim - Maria fought back always defending herself. However Unlike Miriam - Maria did make several Verbal mistakes using strong Comments while defending herself which could have backfired on her but in the end it was her overall performance in the Game which gave her an edge over the other Housemates - Whether they liked her or not she provided the Most Drama inside the House for Good or Bad - A Protagonist for sure.
Compared with Kiko who also had a few Dramatic episodes in the House - Maria was involved in more Drama with more Housemates than anyone else and fought them all while still trying to enjoy her experience in the house. So in the end while some still accused Maria of playing the Victim other were blaming Kiko of using his Famous Mom and Family Name and telling his Family stories in the House to have an advantage in the Game. And although in the Final Battle between Maria and Kiko the Votes were close it was Maria’s Overall Gameplay and Persona which the Public liked most and why they made her the Winner. So Congrats to Maria.
GHDUO Grand Finale Stats:
María Jesús Ruiz (Age 36) is the Winner with 53,3% Votes and Takes home the Winner Title and €100.000 Grand Prize plus her contract for being in the House was rumored to be between €15.000 and €20.000 per week so doing the Math thats comes to around €195,000 or €260,000 - 13 Weeks Total - So €195,000 or €260,000 + €100,000 = €295,000 or €360,000 Total
Kiko Rivera (Age 34) takes 2nd Place with 46,7% Votes - as for his Money Totals since he is the Son of a Famous Singer (Isabel Pantoja) it was rumored he was getting paid €80,000 per week just for being in the GH House and if that’s True €80,000 for 13 Weeks is €1,040,000 alot more than the Grand Prize - Whether or not €the 80,000 was the total between him and his wife who was also in the House is not clear - So if he actually got €40,000 instead then his Total would be €520,000 which is still more than the Grand Prize.
Keep in mind the Percentages above are the Last we got to see before they Closed the Voting Lines - They never revealed the Final Tally after the Show - I will Update the if or when it becomes available. 😉👌
The New Edition of #GHVIP -aka- #GHDUO has Finally arrived on 1/8/2019 and the 16 Housemates are now all inside the GH House - So it's time for some more Gran Hermano -aka- Big Brother Drama. 😉👌
Here are the 16 Housemates Broken up into 2 Main Groups
#GHDUO will be available to Watch in other countries outside of Spain via the Mediaset CincoMas Channel 😉👌
I've said it year after year that Geoblocking was and still is a Mistake and that people with determination will always find a way to watch what they want. Although the methods to bypass the Geoblocking can be too much trouble for some people, for others it has become the normal and necessary thing to do in order to enjoy their favorite shows. However this time the Bosses of Telecinco will be trying something New to allow more people to Watch #GHDUO .
Last year during #GHVIP6 I said in a Tweet that 2 of the main reasons for Telecinco receiving High Ratings (which you may or may not agree upon) was due to 1- Miriam Saavedra and 2- Peru. There were alot of New people watching GHVIP for the first time and most of them were from countries outside of Spain - Peru being one of the Main Countries due to Miriam being Peruvian by Birth. So during the GHVIP Season Miriam made her Mark and quickly became the Main Protagonist of the Show due to her Unique Persona and other determining factors we witnessed on the show. So it was made very clear and revealed very early that Miriam's Fanbase grew very fast and that it was made up of not only Peru and Spain Fans but also Fans from many other countries as well. In the end it was this Mix of Fanbases that made Miriam Saavedra the Winner of #GHVIP and allowed Telecinco to reap the rewards with High Ratings.
It seems that the Big Bosses at Telecinco ( Mediaset ) finally got the message and now realize they owe outsiders from other Countries a Big Thanks for helping them out with the High Viewership Ratings - so they are now willing to try something new. So what is this New thing I'm rambling about? Well it's called Multi-Casting - Broadcasting a TV Program not only within the Country of origin but also to other countries as well.
#GHDUO will now also be available for Viewing in other Countries via the CincoMas Channel. The Lists of Countries and Channel Numbers can be seen on the Picture posted above. This will open up the GH Duo Show to a Larger audience which Telecinco and others are hoping to Cash on while helping to boost and continue the High Ratings Trend.
I am Happy with this approach since I've been saying for years there shouldn't be any barriers put in place (GeoBlocking) that prevent people from watching their Favorite programs even if they are broadcast in other countries. I've been watching Gran Hermano from the Start for years using my own Methods all the way from New York but that’s another story I'll keep to myself. So anyway - This move benefits everyone if done right so I will be hoping for the best.
However this will now put alot of Pressure on the Production Team since there will be alot more people Watching their every move but with that said I applaud the Bosses of Telecinco for making this Move and allowing more people to watch and enjoy one of our favorite Reality Shows. Good Luck 😉👌
