Taking a high profile dog with pledges/donations without a long term plan is NOT rescue. Placing a dog in a dark room in a crate/kennel after realizing the dog is dog aggressive is NOT rescue. Some rescue dogs are a yearlong project, some rescue groups are not equipped for that commitment and fail the dog miserably.
