3/100 days of productivity- feb 11th, 2019

I had my second day of C. elegans bootcamp today where we learn how to work with the worms. It was fun but mentally exhausting since you have to follow the worms through a microscope and they’re suprisingly fast.

The notes are from past semester from the Downstream process lectures, which were part of my Biotechnology major. Now I’m doing my minor, which is Biomedical research.

for the past 11 days, i’ve been on a school-organized trip to europe! we went to amsterdam, ypres, arras, and finished off in paris! first photo was taken in l’orangerie, the second in the louvre, and the third is my bedroom wall of postcards and posters i’ve collected from the trip! i’m positively honoured to have been able to go on this trip and going to all of the art museums that we went to (van gogh, l’orangerie, louvre, d’orsay) and seeing so many historical sites was such an experience.

It’s currently the second semester of my first year in college! 

The classes that I’ll be taking this semester are:

I’m the type of person that when under stress, I’m either experiencing adrenaline rush or complete paralysis (ctto). The stress is completely evident on my face or I am “calm” as heck. No in between.

Science isn’t a subject that I’m good at, as I even like Math better, but I took a Science program.

I chose Psychology as a pre-med track bc I want to become a neuroscientist in the future!!

Due to conducting different researches in the past 4 academic years, I’m really interested in Research and want to focus on it during my stay in college/university.

Math is my favorite subject. To everyone’s surprise, I find it absolutely relaxing.

Conclusion

As I said above, this is really my 3rd??? intro post and I’ve changed urls so many times. Now I came up with this url. I have a hard time making friends and loyally talk with people, but I do hope I would become friends with you guys here in the community. ^^
