"wave is a dynamic system in catastrophe, as a result ofits internal organizational instability"
".. because a wave is a dynamic system. It consists of flows of water , which are its parts, and the relations between those flows, which are governed by the natural laws of systems of water that are investigated by the science of hydrodynamics.
The appearances of the wave, its shape and the happy white crest, are actually outputs of this system. They are what they are because the system is organized in the way that it is, and this organization produces an inescapable kind of behaviour.
The cross-section of the wave is parabolic, having two basic forms, the one dominating at the open-sea stage of the wave, and the other dominating later. As the second form is produced from the first, there is a moment when the wave holds the two forms: it has at this moment a wedge shape of 120°. And at this point, as the second form takes over, the wave begins to break—hence the happy white crest.
Now in terms of the dynamic system that we call a wave, the happy white crest is not at all the pretty sign by which what we first called an entity signalizes its existence. For the wave, that crest is its personal catastrophe. What has happened is that the wave has a systemic conflict within it determined by its form of organization, and that this has produced a phase of instability. The happy white crest is the mark of doom upon the wave, because the instability feeds upon itself; and the catastrophic collapse of the wave is an inevitable output of the system.
I am asking “Did you know?” Not “did you know about theoretic hydrodynamics?” but “did you know that a wave is a dynamic system in catastrophe, as a result ofits internal organizational instability?”
Im prepping to start a new (online) term (yeah, my uni is weird and does not do semesters like everyone else) and trying to place all my assignment dates together so I won't forget any (which happened with a test last term).
Online learning means new challenges and I'm trying to set everything up so when the covid-depression hits I'll be able to keep working. If anyone wants to share what are you doing to improve your online learning experience, feel free to share!!
A floor plan for families who like to gather in the living room! When you come home from the front door, the washroom and toilet is close to make for the hygienic people out there as I think it's convenient if you can do it before cleansing yourself before settling down in the living room. The pantry is also close to the entry for easy unloading from the supermarket and as always cooking and laundry area are organized in one place so you can do all the housework without moving too much. The living dining kitchen has an open floor plan where the deck are connected for easy flow and spacious look. While working on the kitchen, it would be easy for the parent to watch over your children! #openfloorplan #architectureplan #architecturalplans #floorplans #architecturedose #interior #designstudy #design8 #reka #brunei #asiaarchitecture #asianarchitecture #illustrarch #archfly_ft #contemporary #architect #architecturevisualization #3dfloorplan #archdigest #archdaily #dezeen https://www.instagram.com/p/CSgvQJjlw5K/?utm_medium=tumblr
These pictures are from awhile ago. I wouldn’t say that college is kicking my butt, but I would say I’m incredibly busy lately. But I love my English class and I’m so excited to take more next semester!
Hey my name’s Gabriella! I just started this studyblr on a whim and have always wanted to since I was a little kid on my old windows desktop.
I’m eighteen and currently a sophomore in college studying to major as a mechanical engineer! Last semester was a little bit of a struggle, and I began to wonder how I’d fare if I had a community such as you lovelies as support. I wish to find and supply motivation to fuel more productivity :)
