A wacky Poltergeist!Demetri x Vampire!Hawk AU I thought up based on this post! Basically “what if a guy a vampire killed came back as a poltergeist to annoy them endlessly” XD And then I couldn’t get rid of the mental image of ghost!Demetri haunting the crap out of vampire!Hawk after Hawk drains him, either by accident or as part of some fucked-up hazing ritual into a vampire cult or smth??? Like “you have to destroy all relationships with the prey species so prove you’re a real badass vampire by eating your ex-friend” or what have you. Demetri is very annoyed about it either way.
ALSO @ckhalloween22 Vamp!Hawk is here doing monster things so this would probably count as “monstrous transformations” lol

“Wait! I’m not gonna—”
The girl runs screaming, clutching at her neck. Hawk turns, letting out a furious roar.
“The blood-leaking-out-of-the-walls thing again, Demetri?”
A poltergeist’s scoff fills the castle corridor. “Oh no, did the poor vampire lose his lunch?”
“You’re still pissed I drained you?” Hawk groans. “I told you it wasn’t personal! Guy’s gotta eat.”
“What, including his ex-best-friend?”
“If you weren’t such a wuss, you could’ve fought me off! Hunger hits, fangs come out. I don’t know what to tell you.”
“Maybe...‘sorry?’”
“Dream on.”
“Suit yourself. I’ll ruin your décor.”
Slime comes out of the sconces.
