Miss Missing You- Fall Out Boy
I miss missing you now and thenSometimes before it gets betterThe darkness gets biggerThe person that you’d take a bullet for is behind the trigger
Zero had been dead for five years now. It wasn’t so bad it turned out. The whole ghost thing. It kind of sucked watching people in your life move on, or not move on at all sometimes. Sometimes he wished he could leave his hometown, but he was tied to it. He wondered about Mocha sometimes, and how she was doing. He only ever saw her every year or so, when she came and visited his grave on his birthday. He couldn’t ever bear to stay long. The worst person to shadow was Jack. His best friend since birth practically. His cousin, his brother basically. Jack made frequent visits to his grave, at least once a week. He’d sit there in silence sometimes. Other times he’d talk, Zero always wishing that Jack could hear what he had to say back. I forgive you. The worst days were the ones where Jack got angry. Jack had always had a dark side, Zero even encouraged it at times, but now it was a whole new thing. There were days where Zero saw him get up, his eyes sunken and dead. He was violent, short-tempered, and unforgiving. These were the days that Zero was at the borders of Salem, pounding against the invisible constraints. He couldn’t bear to see what Jack had become, what he had made him become. Zero’s body was shaking, sobs wracking his body. I forgive you. He would scream it, hours on end. Whisper it into the hours of the night. Jack had never meant to shoot him in the first place.
