DP HC: Ghostly Emotions

I've heard some stuff that suggests that ghosts can just sense each other & communicate via emotions.

While I don't think that ghosts can just sense each other, as that would mean that ghosts would never get surprised by each other, which is something I believe we see in the show.

I actually don't mind the idea that the first ghostly language was based on emotions. However, I see a lot of ideas that these emotions can be felt at any time.

Instead, I feel like it makes more sense that ghosts need to project their emotions in order to be felt by each other.

It takes a mature ghost to be able to sense what's going on with another ghost without it being projected or seen in their expression.

At the same time, a ghost can resist attempts by others to discern what they're feeling if they wish. Whether that resistance succeeds depends on whether the other withdraws or has a stronger will.

Of course, this is just the first & most instinctual means for ghosts to communicate.

There are other, more verbal, means of doing so.

If not as the language had in life, then by one of the other ghostly languages that had evolved over the eons.

These other languages were necessary as a language based on only emotions limited the ability to communicate.

It's still the most instinctual means of ghostly communication, but it certainly isn't the only one.

In the times where many halfas walked the Earth, they went with angelic names, meaning they went with Enochian and even went with names in ghost languages. Sometimes combining them together. They also went with ancient sanskrit as well.

Pariah Dark isn't even his true name. It was something more truely dark and twisted, that ghosts, halfas, wizards, even humans who thought that magic was truely evil never dared to speak it. He was feared a great deal and his name when said was thought to bring extreme evil, extreme negative energies so bad, they decided to give him a nickname.

If people actually took the time to look through multiple languages in books, and sift through endless hours of research the ghost languages were recorded along with ancient Earth realm languages. Ancient ancient Enochian is in there somewhere as well. Halfa language was uniquely different altogether.

The Halfa language in records, when it wasnt combined with Enochian, the records said it sounded very majestic, yet few people said it was enough to raise some hairs, but enough to sound very elven giving a sense of comfort, yet enough to keep you on your toes just a bit

Halfa babes, in modern times, once born and until age 4 are able to speak this, or mumble it, until they no longer remember it. Danny did this. Jazz did some research and had a holy shit moment because she remembers having conversations with him in that exact language when he was just a toddler, despite thinking it was gibberish.

It ancient texts, Halfas were described as pretty intense, sometimes unsettling and yet beautiful all at the same time. Unsettling due to their half ghost psychology. Their existence was quite questionable, as they seem to exist between the living and dead. How inhuman and yet how human they were. How some grew fangs, some had elven like ears, etc etc. How they would greet by sniffing each others scent up close and circle each other as they did so. They were primal, yet they were not. Just like ghosts they had obsessions, but not as strongly as their undead brethren had, but they did feel the pull of obsession. Some of them weren't exactly the best dinner guests. They were also good warriors.
