Hope I made it. Could I please get some headcanons of Angor or Morgana taking on an apprentice of their own?
Gonna do headcanons since you didn't specify and a platonic relationship!
Angor
~ Angor felt the void in his soul often. It weighed heavily on him and he hoped that by having someone he could trust, someone that cared for him part of that void will be filled.
~ He's surprised that it actually works. At first he wanted power, a partner but slowly Angor feels himself growing connected to you. However he pushes these feelings aside for the longest time. He worries you'll betray him or worse he'll betray you. At arms length he can teach you but he sees your unhappy and that makes his void feel worse.
~ He begins warming up to you. It starts small. A pat on the shoulder after you do a spell successfully, soft encouragement to keep pushing your magic further even when it feels like too much, cleaning any wounds you may get while sparring or potion making, keeping an eye on you to make sure your safe on magic ingredient runs, gentle touches when you look sad, and eventually hugs when you initiate them. He realizes far too late how much he cares about you.
~ Of course he still wants to teach you after this realization but now he also wants more. He wants you to respect him, too care for him, to want him to be in your life. He wants to be important to you because your important to him. He wants to be your guide and he wants to help you through anything he might have gone through alone.
~ He's a strict teacher but he's fair. He teaches you all you wish to know and he respects your boundaries but he often pushes you on how far you think you can go. Magic is difficult but if you don't test it you'll never grow from it. This has lead to arguments and fights as dark magic can be consuming but Angor swears he is just looking out for you. After all he couldn't protect himself so he's trying to make sure you always can.
~ He's very protective of you. Once the attachment is made your never getting rid of him, he's now your magic tsundere troll teacher forever.
~ He teaches you many things outside of magic. Once he opens up he talks about his village, the culture there and what his people were like. He tells you tales of the Pale Lady and how you should fear her, and he shares things. Things he's never shared. He feels safe with you. Happy. Warm. He hopes you feel the same.
~ Magic can be very emotional and draining. He's careful to watch you and make sure your not pushing yourself too hard. When your angry and things begin burning around you he sits you down and teaches you to carve. When your sad and feel the air get heavy he pulls you close to the fire and tells you stories. When you feel overwhelmed he holds you close humming soft rhymes until your breathing is still and you are better.
~ He is unsure of your relationship but he knows he cares for you. If anything happened to you Angor would surely lose the last bit of his sanity and be lost. He does not intend to lose you.
Morgana
~ Morgana long ago lost the human part of her. She is anger and wrath personified. She has magic but it's corrupted and evil. Given to her by ancient gods that care not of man kind nor her whims. However when you come to her begging for asylum against those that hunt your kind she can not turn you away.
~ It's strange. Morgana has had many followers but you are the first that has ever really caught her interest. Perhaps it's your bravery in coming to her, perhaps it's your boldness in staying. She does not know. She does not care. She will take the company and entertainment you bring as she rots in her crystal prison.
~ At first she keeps you around for amusement. You're powers are nothing unique but under her guidance you flourish and grow. She finds herself becoming proud of your accomplishments and slowly you become a part of her life that she doesn't want to change.
~ Soon she knows everything about you. You share constantly. You probably shouldn't but you've deemed the deity trustworthy as she is your teacher. She finds this hysterical as she could kill you with the flick of her wrist but she knows she never would. She'd miss you too much.
~ She realizes early on what's happening. She tried to push you away but she's never actually able to do it. She realizes far too late that your to stay and that she loves you.
~ She worries constantly but she can't really do anything. She is simply a powerful spirit who is separated from her body. She can not protect you outside this cave. She can not have a life with you and yet you stay with her and it makes Morgana feel loved. She is happy you came to her and as you sleep safely under her watch she's happy you have chosen to stay.
