Another Identical Danny and Dan AU
So what if ghost core types worked like Pokémon types, and the GIW had to make specific weapons for every type of ghost.
Knowing Phantom, masquerading as a human, has an ice-core, they are always equipped with a blaster that can combat him.
…but most times, they shoot the wrong ghost.
It’s not their fault! How are they supposed to know who is who when the only difference is the colour of their eyes?!
It is notable that, if ever possible the GIW understood the presence of sentience and emotion in ghosts, they would then understand that the two identical ghosts in fact have starkly differing personalities, and are therefore very easy to tell apart.
Danny and Dan could easily dodge the attacks anyway, it’s just funny to get their hopes up.
