“Oracle, I pulled this guy out of containment, but I’m not getting any vitals!”
“Then it’s a good thing you know what to do, and how fast you have to do it”
"What Haunts in Vegas.........stays in Vegas!"
The hypothetical college trio series includes many hard hitting episodes, including this one where Vlad's in drag and has to seduce a short, sleazy human trafficking ringleader while Jack and Maddie play cards in the casino and distract the bodyguards.
This has been sitting in my drafts forever and I probably won't finish it any time soon (i wanted to adapt most of it into a longer comic) so here's a summary of the ensuing shenanigans and gags:
Danny, over the PA and breathing heavily: Dong-Dong! Ding-Dong I say!
Mr. Lancer: What the Call of the Wild?
Danny: G-Good mornings, students and faculty! A-And happy Easter!
Sam: But that was weeks ago.
Danny: And if anyone would like to question me we can throw hands in the Ghost Zone!
Sam: I withdraw my comment.
Danny: If you're wondering why I'm behind on morning announcements, its because I've been on The Lamb recently!
The whole class: *staring wide eyed at the PA speaker*
Danny: You see children, I was kidnapped by- *loud screeching of car tired* Oh CW dammit... You Were Told To Stay Away!*gun shot sounds*
Agent D(GIW): "Stay Away" my butt Ecto Abomination! Apprehending Ghosts is my thing!*
Danny: And Firearms are Mine! *more blasts sounds*
The Whole School:*staring at the speakers in horror*
Agent D: I count 6 shots Ecto Scum!
Danny: And I count 8 Grenades, you Waste of Life! *explosions*
Agent D: Dodging, and Evading, is that all you got?!
Danny: No! *more explosions*
Valerie, standing on the desk: 5 bucks on the weird government dude! Who's got this? Who's taking this action!
Agent D: *explosions end and his panting into the PA* Good Morning Casper High, I apologize for that but we have now apprehended- *choking sound*
Danny: You are not worthy!*punch sounds*
Agent D: Draw steel road kill!
Danny: Gladly! *swords clashing*
Agent D: *grunts in pain* No! I Yeild! Not the Eggs!
Danny: You come into my school-
Agent D: Ghost boy please put down the eggs!-
Danny: My School!!
Agent D: Please!
Danny: Let's see who can find these on Easter morning!
Agent D: Noooooo-*choking sounds*
PA: *shuts off*
Mr. Lancer: As I was saying, the Mitrochondria is the Powerhouse of the Cell-
Tucker: Mr. Lancer, Wes is crying!
Mr. Lancer: Alright, it was worth a shot. I'm gonna go call the fire department.
Wes, crying: What did he do with the eggs?!
The GIW doesn’t know what they have unleashed.

DPxDC It's Complicated
We've all seen the 'we have your son' trope done with both Bruce and Batman, but I've been thinking about it, and, hear me out, let's give it more flavor.
Bruce gets a call, and it's the usual 'we have your son, follow out orders or he dies', but the orders are not money. It's 'find us this other kid, and we'll trade your child for him'.
While that is an unusual demand, there's another thing: the child on the picture that the kidnappers sent Bruce looks exactly like Damian, sans the eye color. And he's smiling, but that's irrelevant right now. A clone? A decoy? A fake?
Oracle runs a face recognition and finds out that the kid's name is Daniel Fenton, and the record says he's been dead for two months now, buried in the local cemetery of Amity Park, Illinois. Have the kidnappers gone mad with grief? But, wait, there are several 'missing' reports that have been filed after the boy's death, submitted by Jasmine Fenton — the kid's sister — and Vlad Masters, the town's mayor? What does he have to do with the kid?
Meanwhile, Tim is sitting tied up in some warehouse, surrounded by Vlad and a dozen of his carbon copies. Is this man some kind of a meta with duplicating abilities? Why did he even decide to use such a weird scheme when contacting police, FBI, or hell, even the Justice League, would have been so much more effective?
It's just confusing all around.
But Vlad has good reasons! He really does, he swears!
The thing is, it's all his fault. If he didn't fund the GIW in the first place, none of this would have happened. The agents in white wouldn't have outed Danny for being Phantom and wouldn't have taken him away. Maddie and Jack wouldn't have rejected their still alive, just different, son, and wouldn't have put an empty casket in a grave with Daniel's name.
Police won't be searching for a person when they know they are already dead and buried. Justice League, who stands for all that's good and fair, won't go against a government agency that stands for the very same thing.
Which leaves Vlad to find other solutions. Like stealing a rich kid and making his even richer daddy do all the work.
If only said rich kid would stop talking.
Wait, what do you fucking mean 'that picture looks like my brother'?
Imagine an AU where the GIW are less Ghost Hunters and more scientific. Being Ecto-Biologists and trying to learn more with as little harm to creatures, but of course fumbling a bit because it's a new field of science.
Just, the GIW getting lucky and capturing Danny as Phantom, knocking him out in the process. No vivisecting or cruel tests happen. Instead he's put in a room they designed with the younger ghosts in mind, (here's soft toys and blankets, Legos, books for a wide range of ages, things of that nature) but it's not perfect because they didn't know who'd they get.
They feel terrible when Phantom has a full-blown panic attack when he wakes up and crams himself into a corner so he can see the whole room. They quickly send in the onsight psychologist to help him through the attack and explain his new situation. His reactions are way too real for them to be faked.
A few days later, while trying to let Phantom settle into his new environment, they catch a second ghost and learn he can tell they have someone new, but the other ghost can't sense him. Phantom's fear and depression turning into worry (for both the ghost and humans) and determination, his attempts to break out of his room increases significantly. It makes them realize Phantom is a very social ghost and probably needs to see his "friends" to be healthy, but since they know what "ghost fights" look like they can't allow it yet. They need to ghostproof a large area without destroying anything.
Cue the GIW catching a few more ghosts and realizing Phantom is a bit odd for ghosts. He's the only one that they NEED to send the psychologist in regularly because of panic attacks, and start to realize Phantom is getting sick. They're not quite sure what his obsession is, they think it might be either space related or protection related since he's very passionate about both, but the poor ghost is literally starving and it's devastating to the scientists observing him. They can't understand what makes this ghost so different to the others, whom they've all gotten settled and, while not exactly happy, content. They've gotten really good at providing what the other ghosts need and gained enough trust for them to talk to them about their species. It helps when the GIW explain that this is meant to be more of a catch and release program, they just don't have access to a portal yet and are using the time it takes to build one to understand them all better.
A good chunk of the other ghosts express genuine concern over Phantom when they're told he's been there the longest. No one is sure it's healthy for Danny to be ghost so long, but aren't sure how to explain without outing the Halfa.
Phantom ends up passing out and reverting back to Danny, outing himself, because of lack of food or water. He'd be less skeletal if he could indulge in either of his obsessions, but neither were plausible while captive in a secret government base. He wakes up very distraught in a ghostproofed medbay.
The GIW is VERY confused and concerned by Danny's everything, but several behaviors make sense to them now and they start providing for his human half instantly.
He ends up explaining his situation and how it happened the best he can. He realizes they weren't trying to hurt him or the other ghosts, but still feels better when they wheel him around the base to see the ghosts (he's too weak to walk or turn ghost currently) and the scientists are intrigued by how happy and concerned the ghosts are to see the kid still kicking.
The ghosts were more meh to see either other, but are literally vibrating with glee to see the kid. They later explain they tend to see the "little protector spirit" as a cute baby or annoying little brother.
The GIW aren't sure what to do with the kid now. They originally planned to send him through the portal with the rest, but he's part human? They are even less sure when they find out his parents are the FENTONS who definitely didn't know. The whole situation turns into a mess, but this is their kid now. They shall help him.
