Think about it, it makes sense. Tobias' creation is heavily influenced by his real life and experiences. And I remember that when RHRN came out, I immediately thought about his twins and that Copia apparently also had a twin. And I already got suspicious. And now that we had this here I feel like it's heavily indicated that the second twin could be a female assigned at birth. i remember people talking about the new Papa being a "Woman", discussing it in a more or less serious manner. Of course the new Papa could never be a female singer in practice because Tobias is a man. But this makes sense and it also plays into Tobias' support on the LGBTQ+ Community.

Mary Goore's pronouns being He/Him/They/Them? I mean think about it it just fits and I love it.

On top of that we know just what a little Nerd Tobbe is and how he tends to dive into christian mythologies and one of the first female Martys happens to be Perpetua. She was sentenced to death along with six others for their belief in Christianity without having been baptized yet. Shortly before her imprisonment she did get baptized.

I just got to thinking, we never really gave any consideration to how Perpetua must feel. Cardi hems and haws about losing the Papaship but what did Perpetua lose? What if he had a perfectly fine life that he enjoyed that he got dragged away from? What if he had a family that loved him and had no idea he was adopted?

We only see Cardi's life being turned upside down when he finally got everything he aspired to; what if Perpetua was in the same boat? That's almost worse than him having been a tragic orphan. He grew up climbing the social ladder and when he finally got where he wanted to be and he got the call that he would be Papa and had to leave it all behind. Remember Papas are appointed and it doesn't matter if they want to be Papa or not.

THEORY TIME

in the Prequelle era, this is what the backdrop for Cardinal Copia’s stage looked like

it featured Cardi naked with a peculiar tattoo on his chest

that 666 tattoo is a direct reference to The Omen (1976) where the main character Damien was the antichrist- look at the hidden mark he had in his hairline:

this connection is nothing new; Tobias has said that the film had influenced him more than once but since it hasn’t been confirmed that Copia is the antichrist cannonically, I wonder …

what if that is not Copia but PERPETUA who has been confirmed as Copia’s twin?

I have a theory about the first song sung by the Papas characterizing them as characters.

Secondo's first concert song was "Secular Haze" - a song with a dark circus atmosphere, praising the Antichrist. As we know from Papaganda and interviews, he likes wigs, silly costumes and noisy parties, hiding his unhappiness behind this.

Terzo's first song was "From the Pinnacle to the Pit". His life path follows the path of Lucifer and Icarus, even the last word sung by him on his albums is "falling" ("Bible"). The higher one soars, the longer it takes to fall, the theme of hubris and the giddiness of success all reflect Terzo.

Copia's first song was "Rats" (acoustic performance). Rats prowl everywhere, small and inconspicuous, and bring death. I think he may have identified with death, as his reign began with the murder of the brothers. And as a bastard, he may have felt like a small animal, despised by all, but capable of revenge.
