hi! i used to beat myself up for not being skilled at “traditional” art and being unable to accurately sketch people but i realized that the pieces i feel strongest and most confident about are the abstract ones. basically, art doesn’t have to be people or faces, it’s just self expression and no one can tell you what that’s supposed to look like :]

i feel like you were god-sent to tell me this because this is the exact crisis i’ve been dealing with and getting upset with since im an advertising and design major. omg thank you

fluffy white clouds in the sky on a sunny day, cozy room full of beautiful fabric, satin and velvet, airy white handsewn curtains with lace, everything is nice to touch, the feeling of breathing in fresh air in the mountains. everything as soft and fluffy as cotton. white and brown cats with long hair, soft and plushy, sleeping all over the freshly made bed. cherry juice in an old mug after grandma,painted on gentle floral patterns, paintings of little cats and dogs. a few bumps and scratches after all those years but everything is still clean and pretty. time passing incredibly slowly and in a dreamlike pattern, but in a calming way. maybe you could take a nap here
