so after tommy’s revived, he can see ghostbur’s handprints. they’re on the animals and pets of the server, the lmanberg ruins, and even traces along philza’s walls. all loving touches and handprints from ghostbur’s care.

but more than anything else, there’s blue on tommy. on his hands, where ghostbur held them in his own. on his back, where ghostbur rubbed circles encouragingly. on his face, where ghostbur once wiped the tears from his face. on his arms and fingers and shoulders and nose and hair and face.

and for the first time in a long while, tommy is able to see the evidence of being loved

Hc for ghostbur remembering, and becoming Wilbur again

Okay okay okay so

After some time ghostbur slowly starts regaining his memories. From the good ones to the bad ones.

Especially his personality, and his way to weave words and charm the people around him.

So he keeps up the facade of being the innocent ghost that doesn't remember what happened.

But he does. Oh god he does.

And he starts out with Tommy. His right hand man.

He wants to see how much Tommy trusts him now.

So he gives Tommy a quest to gather him gunpowder and paper, and sand.

Under the disguise of wanting to see fireworks.

"Because Technoblade told me fireworks are pretty."

So Tommy does.

And Wilbur makes the fireworks are some trial and error. A couple of normal once.

And a couple he has tampered with, adding tnt to them.

He shows them off to Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo.

"I want to share my new joy with you!"

And so slowly everyone finds out Ghostbur like Blue fireworks.

Phil, oh the poor man.

Phil hands him all the materials he needs and asks for.

Because Phil just wants to see his son happy with the same childhood happiness he remembers and is reminded of.

Leading to Wilbur slowly building up a new arsenal of TNT.

Meanwhile all of this, Wilbur has started building up a grudge against Tubbo. For two reasons.

Tubbo rebuild L'Manberg

And Tubbo let L'Manberg fall again.

So Wilbur naturally starts hanging more around Tubbo.

Tubbo starts trusting Ghostbur. The innocent ghost offering everyone Blue.

The Ghostbur that also holds an aresal of tnt infused fireworks and a grudge against the kid.

Tubbo let's ghostbur meet Michael.

And now Wilbur has found Tubbos weakness.

So Ghostbur gets help from Tommy and Ranboo, wanting to set up a surprise display for Tubbo in Snowchester.

The fireworks are blue after all.

What the other two don't know. Is Wilbur has rigged the fireworks display to go wrong.

For it to shoot directly into the house of Tubbo and Ranboo house a Michael that sitting in the window excited to see the fireworks.

And the display goes of.

And it goes wrong, going right after the plan.

The TNT infused fireworks landing perfectly in the small home.

Blowing it all up in a beautiful display of Blue.

Tubbo is horrified, and scared. After all the kid did lose a life to fireworks.

Ranboo is trying his best to get Michael out of the rumble.

And Tommy.

Tommy turns to ghostbur. Only now clearly seeing wilbur and his deranged excited expression.

"You all wanted some blue after all."

Recently I was thinking a lot about something like?? multiverse?? but with Wilbur's personas?? he has a bunch of them. Ghostbur, Vilbur, Argbur, Alivebur,,,,

IM JUST SAYING BUT I WOULD LOVE TO SEE GHOSTBUR AND ARGBUR TOGETHER.

They're both dead so they could met in afterlife right?

I love headcanon where Ghostbur is like colorblind?? He can see only black and white. Or blue when he sees sad person. Argbur died being unhappy and scared.

Ghostbur notices Argbur because he's blue so asks him what happened. Argbur tells him about whole editor thing and how he died and left actual Wilbur alone. Ghostbur is like "oh! I knew wilbur! I was kinda like you before dying!" And cheers him up by telling him every good thing he did as L'manbur.

mumza knows ghostbur is lonely in limbo, and she always feels bad for him. so when an animal dies, instead of taking it straight to heaven, she stops by limbo first so ghostbur can meet them!!!!

“ghostbur is still in the train station :((” “ghostbur’s stuck there forever :((” WRONG he forged a train ticket, got on the first train, and is halfway to the limbo equivalent of paris by now

thinking about dream showing up at the train station to get wilbur. he steps off the train and finds mumza holding tightly to wilbur’s hand. she knew he was coming.

wilbur tries to step towards dream and mumza wraps her wings around him, trying everything she can to keep him from going back. dream has to physically grab wilbur’s arm, trying to pul him from her grasp as she yells prayers into the sky.

she knows what will happen to ghostbur if dream gets wilbur on that train. and she knows that when people come back to life, they come back wrong. different. wilbur doesn’t deserve that, neither does ghostbur.

so when dream eventually wrestles wilbur from her grasp and the train doors close behind them, she crumples to the floor and slams her fists to the ground, sending fractures in every direction like shattered glass.

and minutes later, when the train comes thundering back into the station, it’s all she can do not to scream. the doors open with a soft ding and ghostbur steps out, confused and afraid. she stands up, takes a breath, and reaches out to take his hand.

happy ghostbur hcs bc ghostbur enjoyers deserve something besides angst

- when ghostbur was alive, he loved instruments. every couple days he’d find out about a new one and be determined to learn it. until he found another instrument and got distracted trying to learn that one. jack of all trades y’know!

- ghostbur used to visit all the animals of the server. he’d keep them company while their people were away, and sing to them

- he was whoever people needed him to be. some people called him ghostbur, others called him wilbur. he didn’t mind, if the people he cared about found solace in calling him by a different name, who was he to stop them

- very bad at knitting!! tried very hard to learn but was never coordinated enough!! but basically everyone on the server was given a poorly knitted gift at some point, bc he wanted to gift them something they could actually hold

- when ranboo was in his enderwalk state, ghostbur would silently follow him around and make sure he got home safe

- he kept every single gift he was ever given. it’s all tucked away in the hollow stump of a tree next to tommy’s house

- sometimes at night he’d walk around the server, making sure everybody was sound asleep
