Welp, first try on Easy and I beat the game I think?? Everything before the final stage was almost insultingly easy tbh (when compared to Normal difficulty, tbc), and then the final stage was a noticeable ramp up in difficulty that felt like a reasonable challenge that kinda stressed me out but could probably still stand to be a liiiitle harder while staying manageable (it would probably feel harder as a melee fight down in the arena tbf rather than how I was fighting lmao)

Very cool though :) Soon, we go again!

Does anyone have any advice for Phase 2 of Grand Mother Silk, specifically for fighting her while infested?

Beat her twice with needle only on my normal build so I know I can get through the fight without my tools, I've been able to no-hit phase 1 a couple times now, and I can pretty reliably get to phase 2, and even past her first stagger there a handful of times, but I feel like I'm just constantly taking damage and am really struggling to avoid her web attack consistently. There seems to be a lot of rng going on here, but is there any sort of particular trick I may not be getting?

Found out you can pogo the floor spikes down, and can use grapple on her in a couple situations, but I feel like I have no control over jump height consistency, movement coming out of a dash, not getting boxed in, etc... hitboxes also seem like a Suggestion for everything on screen today imo.

Any tips and tricks from people who're better at picking up the strategy and patterns for these things?

Any variation of 'get good', 'skill issue', 'just learn her patterns and dodge', 'its not even hard' or similarly unhelpful bullshit gets you blocked immediately. If you comment stuff like that on people's posts, eat rocks.
