A few years ago I went on a ghost tour of abandoned train tunnels at Helensburgh in the pouring rain.

At night, in the pitch black, we walked about 50 metres into the tunnel where we stood in the dark to do EVP’s and EMF’s.

But I can see at the end of the tunnel just at the entrance what looks like a flickering red light periodically going backwards and forwards. It looked like someone was pacing whilst holding a match or old school oil lantern, but I didn’t see anyone holding the light source.

Everyone was accounted for in the tunnel, all standing as a group. No one else should’ve been there let alone lighting matches in the rain nor is it possible at this spot to see any car headlights. Headlights and a flicking flame are very different anyway.

No one else was there when we went in or when we came out. I don’t know if someone was there when they shouldn’t have been or if I was seeing a spirit reliving their days.
