Elain looked at the other with utter disdain. Though they didn’t look the same, they felt it, they felt this bond between the two of them that didn’t logically make sense, but she drew closer to the other. She didn’t understand this thread that felt like it was connected between the two of them, this total stranger that had Elain running to the other end of the store to just catch a glimpse of once more to see if it was just her head playing tricks on her or if it was something more.
In some cruel twist of fate she turned around and they were standing in front of the other, and they collided and Elain landed square on her bottom. “I-I’m so sorry.” She couldn’t just come out and say that hey; I think I know you from some past life or something because I literally feel this insane connection but this was actually happening. They were speaking, Elain made eye contact with the other, “are you okay?” She asked as she was the one on the ground. Not the other. Smooth talking once again.
