"Ewron, why are you like this?"
I don't know if he's being haunted by a ghost, or he's starting to hallucinate due to guilty conscience. I just love that he's the only one who can hear the voices in the church

face the consequences of your only way to atone in the eyes of the grieving father recent sight of ghosty in ewron's desecrated church
Nothing bad will happen to her ever ok?
yes ok
Assassin dou kids
I love Ghosty so dearly she's so interesting despite not being a character or at least not being played by anyone (for now)(maybe will in the future????please?????)
Her entire life she's been told she's not gonna make it. No one had high hopes for her surviving. Exept for her father who stubbornly clung to hope that she gets to live. And then she lost her sister. And she was there when it happened. She suddenly lost the very little freedom she had, her father became so overprotective he locked her in a literal hole in the ground because her being alive mattered more to him than her being happy. And for all the people who dont watch ash, he had a few (one way) conversations with her where he characterized her as quite feisty and constantly talking back. Which makes sense. She inherited her fathers stubbornes and has grown bitter from not being in the outside world. I like to interpret her as a child with a chronic condition I mean it makes perfect sense. The bitter irony being that she lasted longer than her healthier sister. But she did die. And it's easy to imagine she hates Ewron for killing her which is certainly valid but now that he revived her I imagine her feelings about him are way more complicated than that. I mean he was the first person she saw when she came back. Imagine the first face you see upon being brought back to life being that of your murderer. How do you react to that. Also I think it's fair to assume she's older now, a teenager. And from expirience I can tell you that teenagers aren't very good with emotions so her reaction was kinda valid ngl. But also I like to think that she did make Ewrons punishment lighter by just cursing his church and not straight up killing him. And now she doesn't know what to do, she's not ready to face her father and she has nowhere to go so she just ran away
The Ghosty lore today was genuinely insane.
Right off the bat Ash starting to have doubts about the whole process, trying to make Ewron do it more humanely since that's still his daughter, and Ewron jest deriding him for allowing himself to get emotionally attached, since Ewron was trying to treat this whole ordeal like an encounter with an unfamiliar entity, whom he doesn't have to care about, but Ash did manage to convince him to not immediately treat her as hostle
Also Ash at every step of the way reminding that Ewron being alive is the most important thing, and that that's why they're doing this, because Ash doesn't want him to die
Then Ewron started talking about how he doesn't like being threatened, and when Ghosty finally showed up, despite all his cockiness he stepped away, and Ash was the one to step between them, straight up ready to protect him with everything
And then Ewron tries being all stern, telling her to surrender herself and give him her heart, AND SHE PULLS OUT ASH'S VERY OWN HEART AND HANDS IT TO HIM, which he places upon the altar, and all the implications of this are just so ughhh, and also this just shows how not in control Ewron is, despite thinking himself to be
And then the two books, with two different missions, each only meant for one of the assassin's, reflecting their deeper motivesss
Ewron getting a book titled "Power", and told to bring her "a bloodthirsty beast from the haunted forest", and then her powers will be his, showing both his motivations and his means in which he tries to achieve them, the task being either about cunning or violence, depending on how it goes
And Ash getting a book title "Purity", with his task being to cure Haiper, or else he is set to die in 7 days, showing how deep down Ash's motivation has for the longest time been his friends, his fellow regime members, his family
And Ash just went back to saying that Ewron being alive is what's most important now, and that he doesn't have to do his task, reiterating that this no longer has to involve him, his life is no longer on the line and Ghosty is Ash's responsibility, but Ewron still insisting on helping
And in the very end, When Ewron had already left the altar room, and only Ash remained, he stared at his heart, and before leaving said "I don't need that."
