This is the first complete skeleton of a giant deer ever to be discovered. It was found on the Isle of Man in 1819 and brought to Edinburgh by the Duke of Atholl.

The Irish Elk and The Aurochs, two giant ice age herbivores. I love Pleistocene megafauna, the fact that we are so close to them in time, so close that our ancestors saw and drew them, has always fascinated me.
