Do you know of any lichens that grow on giant sequoias?
There are lots of them, as far as I am aware, with variable populations along the height and orientation of the tree. And folks have documented that giant sequoia cones are often covered in lichen:
Mycocalicium sequoiae (I can't find any pictures of it online) is a pin lichen that specializes in growing on fire scars on Sequoiadendron giganteum and Sequoia sempervirens.

Giant Sequoia, also known as Wellingtonia or Giant Redwood (Sequoiadendron giganteum). There was a bit of a craze for planting these in Britain during the Victorian era, and this one is still not very big despite being planted over 150 years ago - a long time for humans, but not sequoias!
