Sam nodded alongside him, a little chuckle bubbling from her. It was endearing, but she chalked it up on Cooper being drunk then. She couldn't deny she had harboured a small crush on him in the past. But that was all in the past, no need to dig it back up again on the whims on an inebriated man. "It kind of does. You're acting goofier than usual for one." Though she didn't exactly shy away from his step toward her.

"You know I've never done this before," Arlo shares as he follows Cooper through the trees trusting the other knows where they're going. "Well this whole trip I've been doing things I've never done before but stargazing seems like something really special." He continues as he clears his throat. "I've only ever lived in big cities so never been able to see the stars." Part of him is excited to see if Cooper can point out the constellations he's only heard or seen pictures of previously. "You know a lot about stars then?" He asks, eager to see if this sets to other off into a tangent of information that's way above Arlo's head yet he's infatuated by the other's passion every time it happens.

"Sweetheart, how do you manage to get more gorgeous every time I see you?" Mateo remarks as Raya settles in on the other side of the table. With his busy schedule the concept of seriously dating someone simply didn't make sense. Rather he enjoyed using his wealth to pamper more casual romantic partners. Honestly he did get off on seeing their joy over his lavish gifts. "For you by the way," he mentions with a smile pushing a small box across the table. "I appreciate you making the time to see me last minute. I know your time is very valuable. Hope you didn't have to cancel anything with someone else in order to see me." He adds sitting forward letting out a sigh as he takes in her beauty.
