I hate when a gif is loading and its just showing each frame one at a time really slowly, like you just defeated the purpose of it, I could've just downloaded it and scrolled through the pictures really fast

Ugh, can somebody please help me with my gif problem? I use the Tumblr app on my phone and anytime I try to view a gif, it doesn’t do anything. It’s been like this for a couple weeks now and it’s really starting to get on my nerves. I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and even turning my phone on and off. Neither helped.
