Alternatively titled: Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Hudson and Connor are adults with their own careers. There is no indication they are being forced to do something against their will. We can be reasonably sure their actions show their intentions.
If Hudson wanted to show off and talk about how much he loves K, he would. How do I know that? Because he does do it, just not about her.
If Hudson wanted to keep everyone out of his relationship and keep it private/unperceived and just for them two, he would. How do I know that? Because he does do it, just not for her.
If Hudson wanted to invest in his relationship by spending as much time as possible with K because he couldn’t wait for quality time with his partner, he would. How do I know that? Because he does do that, just not with her.
If Hudson wanted us to really believe in his long-term, serious romantic relationship with K without a doubt, then he would show it with his actions and not just his words. He wouldn’t call her up for the photo ops and then leave her 10 feet behind him while he lives his best life. He’d want her by his side - like a certain someone we all know and love. However, he doesn’t do any of this for K at all. I’d argue, it’s simply because he doesn’t want to, at least not when it comes to her. Perhaps things are not what they seem after all.
