First off, we really want to apologize for the wait. The combination of the new social media sharing and our real time gameplay led to much of #GIFingAround's server code to be re-written to allow games to persist in their real time nature. With that, things should proceed much easier now. Lot's of new stuff as you will see!

It may come as no surprise that we love GIFs at Alpha Beta Gamer. So what better than a game created entirely from them? #GIFingAround is a fun cross platform party game that allows you to use any GIF from the Internet to create the funniest response to a statement.
A little like Cards Against Humanity but with GIFs, each round starts with a player acting as the Original Poster who must submit a reaction-inducing post. The rest of the players then choose a response from the selection of random GIFs they’ve been dealt and the Original Poster selects the funniest.
Coming to Windows, OSX, Linux, iOS, and Android, #GIFingAround is a fun game, and even allows you to use custom GIFs from the net. However, as we’ve created a GIF of a GIF-based game, we’re in imminent danger of creating an infinite GIF-loop and breaking the internet. Here’s hoping it doesn’t come to that!

#GIFingAround is a cross platform party game using all your favorite GIFs on the internet in a battle for sweet, sweet Karma Points! Collect and utilize all your GIFs for the lolz while applying your winnings to troll your friends!
The game is for Windows, OSX, Linux, iOS, and Android.
Gameplay
Every turn a player acts as the Original Poster (OP) by submitting a reaction inducing Post.
Other players then attempt to match that Post with a random GIF they have been dealt.
The OP then selects their favorite GIF, awarding it's owner of it 3 Karma Points!
The game then repeats round robin adding in variations of internet humor to the mix creating the opportunity for some mash-ups even I can't really predict.

Cross platform multiplayer on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Cloud synchronization.
Custom Gif and Post saving.
In-game web browsing! (mobile and tablet only).
Real-time gameplay.
