GAME OVER MAN GAME OVER

The hydra’s heads numbered one hundred and three, each with seven gills to drink the ocean’s depths and taste of its protozoan seasoning. It had spent eons lazing in the depths, slow and ponderous, for any mind that must pass through so many-score brains must be slow in its workings. Somewhere near the end of its cognitive queue, it savored the K-T extinction that sent so many savory leviathans sinking down to its benthic nest, though their bodies had long since been devoured. Further up, still processing and unresolved, was a faint confusion over Atlantis. Somewhere, deep in the synaptic sargasso of its mind, it was beginning to think it might need to do something about this whole humanity thing.
