i think the idea of me being single (i mean, not exactly the first time that’s happened) wouldn’t have annoyed me AT ALL if it weren’t for my relatives’ ““good”” fucking advice (~*~just put on makeup~*~ as if i’m gonna set my alarm 30 min earlier and put it on half asleep l m a o) and claims that i gotta find a husband in college or else i’ll be waiting for the time that "the good catches” get divorced

so i may or may not have gotten into a med school but getting through everything it consists of is a whole other fucking story and i have no damn idea how to study anatomy. everything just vanishes out of my head instantly and i’m so scared of failure i might just as well die. i honestly don’t know if i’m cut out for this

i’m going back to school on tuesday, and while i’m already kind of stressed out, i also came to terms with the fact that i should - that i will - learn to accept myself as a whole, as a human being who is flawed as fuck but who deserves this kind of life; who deserves to be taken care of, to be loved, to learn, who deserves friends, the ones who are close but also the ones who are far (yes, vnightray, this is about u). and holy shit, if i have to wear pink nail polish as if it was war paint, solely to to maintain this level of confidence, i will. for once, i will hold my head up high.

my cheeks are kind of chubby and it’s basically an unwritten rule that everyone who gets close to me will eventually call them “adorable” or whatever and then pinch them. and i will never know if it’s sincere or ironic, wtf the fuck
