@gildedjustice ((I’m so sorry I saw the comments on this & I couldn’t resist))

[Is it bad if the first thing I thought of is like... a Warlock outfit sjdklf]

“A demon is an living being that has died committed one or several major sins, hence they are punished to a place of eternal suffering... That place is Hell.” The ‘human’ demon explained calmly to the gem, stoic as he did so.
“Simply put, Hell is a place for all bad living beings once they die, especially if they’ve done unforgivable acts of evil... Even if said evil acts were done in ‘good’ reasoning.”
I’m late to the party but [hits the fattest bong rip]

2. Are aesthetics important to you? If they are, why?
They are, actually. I know this question is probably referring to “do you have a problem with people who don’t use icons or fancy text,” but I actually don’t have a problem with that at all (unless you are doing one-liners without icons, that tends to lose my interest).
The way aesthetics matter to me actually has a lot more to do with certain aesthetics that turn me off, or just end up being so distracting I can’t enjoy the content (the latter of which I guess is the reason they are important to me). These include, but are not limited to:
50x50 (or even smaller??!!!) icons
“deep-fried” icons (icon images that are painfully oversaturated and usually weirdly pixel-y for the purpose of aesthetic)
Icons with a strange focus (if the focus of your 100x100 image is your character’s elbow, and I can barely tell that’s what it is, I’m just not sure why it’s there)
Poor color contrast. I’ve never liked blogs you need to highlight or copy/paste the text to read, but ever since I’ve started working with accessibility at my job, even more minor infractions tend to bother me 10x more.
Text that is highly formatted to the point that I have to read a single sentence multiple times to get what it’s saying. This is especially true of people who use those big spaces in between words for….some reason?Like shit
❝ I FEEL 𝔰𝔬𝔪𝔢𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔫𝔤 ꜱᴏ ʀɪɢʜᴛDOING the WᵣₒₙG thingI FEEL 𝔰𝔬𝔪𝔢𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔫𝔤 ꜱᴏ ᴡʀᴏɴɢDOING the ᵣᵢGₕₜ thing❞
Unless you are musings blog or something…I don’t understand it. I understand it even less when you have ENTIRE REPLIES written like this. And even when it comes to light formatting, like….have a reason. I use italics for dialouge and bold for emphasis, but I swear, some people seem like they use caps, italics, bold, etc…..just randomly! Like as if it somehow spices up their post instead of confusing the heck out of me.
15. How has rp changed you personally?
I’ve become a much better writer for it, and I can produce higher quality writing more quickly and consistently too. It’s almost become a big hobby of mine; probably my main hobby, actually.
30. How have you responded to popular slang used on tumblr? Do you use it in every day life? Do you use it at all?
I’m not sure if this counts as “slang” or “jargon”, but funny story about this: you how we always say “explanation under the cut” or something like that if we are putting info (or images) under a “read more” cut off? (Which incidentally, doesn’t even say “read more” anymore, it’s said “keep reading” for a few years now, but I still call it “a ‘read more’”)
Well, one time at work I used “under the cut” in an outline for a course I was making, without even thinking! My boss just looked at and was like “What does this mean?”
And I was just like “adlkfhalsd sorry I meant [insert what our program has that functionally works the same way for a page in the web course]” which she understood, but she was still curious where the phrase came from. So I admitted it was Tumblr xD
what do you MEAN your client . just. E S C A P E D ? you are aware of the GRAVITY of their crimes, yes? SHATTERING AN IMPERIAL OFFICER- why, i have the brightest idea. since YOU are responsible for their escape, perhaps i should hold you accountable instead for their actions-
unless you have any sort of idea on how to fix this pathetic mess, consider yourself in quite the INCONVENIENT situation."
