So years ago, when Mina came to stay with me for a month, she left her copy of Neverwhere here. And for the past few years, she's been a lot in and out of hospitals, and it's heartbreaking for me that I haven't been able to visit her and support her in person, or just generally hang out properly.

So since Neil Gaiman was in Oslo, I brought along her copy of Neverwhere...

[11:16] Mina: I don't see the problem. There is always time for Mal/Simon. [11:16] Mina: Look how buttoned up and proper and sensible you look! [11:17] Mina: Ahh it's so cute. You just wanna pinch your cheeks and ruffle your hair up. [11:17] Mina: And put dirt and grease on your face some. [11:18] Mina: Just to watch you freak out and get all huffy. [11:19] Mina: And your face would get that light pink tint to it when you get upset and thrown off and your mouth would fall open in that angry-protest way and it would just be like ahhh so adorable. [11:20] Mina: Sorry- totally ran with the Simon imagery.

So because I know what Mina likes (she's not subtle about it, trust me), here's me as blonde!Simon again, not quite what she asked, but...

Mal and Simon get in a fistfight, as usual, except then the fight turns into angry making out, and then Simon is all embarrassed and blushy and adorable, with a bunch of marks (black eye, split lip, slightly bloody cheekbone, hickey...) from combination of those things.

My friend Mina asked me why I never cosplay Firefly stuff, and I immediately knew what pieces of clothing to use to throw this together. Unfortunately I don't have a gun belt or suspenders, the boots are very wrong, and the coat is the Tenth Doctor's, but it gets the point across.

May have spent large parts of last night and this morning playing 2048 while listening to Hair, then listening to another version of Hair, then watching Hair, then watching Across The Universe, and then watching Across The Universe again.

All the hippies forever. Largely cause I've been having feelings about this story Mina and I wrote and then started reminiscing about.

Krissy: Hey Mina: Hey you. Mina: What's up? Krissy: I've been having lots of Tommy/Danny feelings and it's all your fault. Mina: ... Mina: Swear to God, I was only asking so you'd ask back. Mina: And I could blame you for all these random Tommy/Danny emotions I've been having
