Gilly, a wildling, who just learned how to read, just uncovered the biggest secret in the entirety of Westoros, and Sam brushed her off. Like honestly she could be the grand maester, fuck all those old white guys who just sit on their asses and bicker.
Gilly just accidentally discovered that Jon is the rightful heir of the Iron Throne and like honestly I love her so much.
So proud of my children, the new Lord Samwell Tarly, head of House Tarly, Lord of Hornhill, and his amazing wildling wife Lady Gilly Tarly.
That scene with Davos, Gilly and the Shireen-resembling Little Girl may be the scene that moved me most. Both her brothers were soldiers, and she wants to fight too. 💔 Davos’ reaction and Gilly’s little sweet lie made my heart throb.
