I mourn the fact that we didn't get a vampire character.

Well I mean we got one, for half a scene. Let's remember he was called Sanguini. Oh, and maybe this isn't clear for everyone but his name comes from the latin 'sanguis' which means 'blood'. In french it's even more striking since we call 'blood' well... 'sang'. So his name is so freaking ridiculous... It's like he was called 'Bloodini' or 'Bloody'.

But then again, Remus freaking Lupin.

I swear to god, jkr...

Also, the detail with the blood lollipops at Honeydukes in PoA always stuck with me so... what is up with that? Ofc the Doylist explanation is that it's just a funny joke, but what about the Watsonian implications of this?? Are there many vampires? Is there a community of them living in Hogsmeade to justify Honeydukes having a supply of lollipops?

spending this sunday afternoon with doing research for finally doing some background stories for my Elder Scrolls Online characters

one of the things i wish there was more of in fallout (something i actually feel so passionately about i had a whole fallout-themed dream abt this one tidbit back in, like, 2014) is documents!  like, have you ever watched a video of urbexers going into old hospitals filled with documentation and been thrilled watching em open them up to see all this old information from 50 years ago and shit? whole recollections of people’s medical histories or autopsies! just sitting there! i’d have really loved to see more of like... you enter an old house in concord and find shit like family photos or bills or like... letters from families... pre-war stuff! the notes that exist are super, like... hey there’s a thing over here in [X,Y,Z] if you go looking wink wink nudge nudge ;) but i’d have liked to see more pre-war notes just for sheer set dressing? you go into an old hospital and find notes from just after the bombs fell where ppl are dying from radiation burns, or go into a military installation and find a soldier’s collection of mementos... i know it does exist, to some extent, in all fallout games, but i’d have liked to see more of it, esp in houses/garages and stuff which are mostly just empty 🤔
