My sweet Emilia finally has a faceup I like on her. I included the first 3 faceups as well, which each failed for one reason or another, but hey, I am finally satisfied and I've only owned her since 2018!
It's kind of sad, but I think she is my only Dollzone that hasn't been discontinued, and I got quite a few...
Reasons why I disliked the previous faceups:
The nose chipped towards the end due to my own mess up and I wasn't able to patch it properly
The lips turned out really messy, like really messy. I hated looking at them and her eyebrows were too high making her look aloof
e v e r y t h i n g . . . Honestly this faceup was a hot mess. I tried new things and I was extremely dissatisfied with the result. I was happy to redo it
This faceup I like. The blushing is soft, the lips are clean, and the eyebrows are also gentle. I could definitely nitpick this faceup too, but I am happy with it regardless!
The what is what:
Sculpt: Dollzone April (new/elf) in normal pink
Eyes: From an American resin eye-maker, I got them secondhand and didn't think to ask the name of the artist
Wig: Licht 2.5d in 7-8
Accessories: Me (choker necklace and flower crown)
