I wanted to draw Phasma picking up Armitage like a kitten, so I drew this. The dialogue is referenced from a meme. He’s tiny, but he wriggles around like a little rascal. I tried to capture the feeling of Phasma cradling him in her hands, but it ended up looking like she’s tickling him. How did that happen? This time I finally had Phasma wear her helmet, but it looks a bit weird. Oh well, at least I gave it a shot. Good thing Phasma’s wearing her helmet—otherwise she’d be giving Armitage a big kiss. Just kidding—she’d kiss him even with the helmet on.

I’m not a 100% lover of every choice made in Delilah Dawson’s Phasma. But I do like that Phasma used a beetle to kill Brendol. I know it was in a very ‘you aren’t strong enough to live through what I did’ way but I also like to think that Phasma just really likes bugs. Bug girl. Keeps a couple terrariums of bugs in her room. Feeds them small fuzzy creatures. Someone pissing her off really badly but she can’t do anything public? Poisonous spider in their bed. Flesh eating beetle in their boots. Millicent ate her favourite millipede? She is going to act above it but cry in private later.

I do not think she and Armitage are good at conversations. I think they probably just sit down sometimes and she lists facts about an insect she got on her last mission like the phylum and its lifecycle. And he just nods along and figures out how to build a new terrarium for it. Like he does not know how to say anything comforting but he CAN make his best friend a terrarium that lets her keep developing her collection of poisonous/shiny insects.

Phasma and Armitage turned into cats!!!

Both of them seem very cat-like. Phasma would be a huge, energetic Maine Coon, patrolling everywhere, though her temper definitely wouldn't be as good as a Maine Coon's. Still, she'd be very tolerant of Armitage. Armitage resembles a Somali cat in both appearance and personality—clever, cunning, and full of mischievous schemes. He'd constantly linger near Phasma just to tease her. The two cats would curl up together for warmth and sleep, purring and meowing as they snuggled close. They'd wander around causing mischief everywhere. And because of their size difference, Phasma might even be able to grab Armitage by the scruff of his neck and carry him off.

First time drawing cats but it feels pretty good.

I drew a pixel art picture myself (using a reference), and it turned out great when painted in acrylic—it looks just like little candies and is absolutely delicious-looking.

I tried my best to draw a Polaroid-style transparent card because I wanted to see Phasma and Hux together. You just need to turn the white parts into transparent ones, and then you can use it for photography. I made a sample effect using my home cat and the snow-capped mountains I took photos of during a trip—it looks really cute! I hope I can take this card to "bring" the two of them along for photos.

Lately I've been swamped with schoolwork and haven't had time to write or draw. Finally managed to squeeze in some time to sketch a Polaroid—it looks pretty rough, but you can tell they're having a good time. Now that this is done, back to homework. Sigh. Love these two little cuties.
