El Head Canons
A lot of this was written pre season 5, but I also don't consider season 5 part of my canon.
Survives the end of the series and gets to keep her psychic powers
After the end of the series, she tries everything because she spent so much time in hiding/ imprisoned.
She experiments with fashion a lot. She ends up having just about every color of hair in her 20s.
Gets to spend some time being single. Mike is the first person she's met who is not trying to harm you and still alive. I think I would rather her end up with someone new.
She and Will have similar taste in men.
As adults, they go to bars and bet on if a random man is gay or straight. Whoever is wrong pays for drinks. If the person is not interested, they both pay for their own.
BFFs with Max and Will for life.
Gets to be the fun aunt/mom/cousin/whatever. Since El missed out on having a typical childhood, she's excited for most kid/teen things that adults dread.
Ends up going by Jane Hopper after everything
Maybe works as a flight attendant or a pilot? She's spent so much time in hiding, she has to make up for it and see everything.
Spent a semester just hanging out on a random college campus (maybe with Max or Will) without being a student just to meet people.
Basically the fake life she made up in letters in season 4, she gets to have for real.
