Truthless Recluse's three kids he has for some reason! (Truthless doesn't know about Berry Bunny Cookie yet, since Sage is planning on using her as a secret trump card, so he thinks he only has three)

Nobody (COUGH, the Sage of Truth, COUGH) has any idea on where they came from, and the Recluse has refused to tell anyone on how they even came into existence.

GingerBrave tends to call the Recluse either dad or Pure Vanilla Cookie (he's the only one allowed to call the reclusive liar by his name, anyone else gets a lecture on why they shouldn't call him that, at least in public). Strawberry almost always calls him 'mentor', but sometimes calls him the occasional 'papa' instead. Wizard exclusively calls Truthless Recluse 'Master Truthless', and has been calling him that ever since he learned Truthless is the Spire's master.

They seemingly enjoy messing with cookies who venture to the Spire of Ultimate Truth, making sure they're thoroughly scared before kicking them out.

Heads up! This post is not mine but a submission from @flowerhopegalaxy . I'm not exactly sure how submissions work compared to asks on Tumblr so I may disable them until I have a better understanding of them. I like your previous Deltarune x cookie run comic. So happen to have dark world designs of ginger brave, strawberry and wizard cookie.

Cookies are made with magic, and probably have some determination since they’re lighteners. Since they have a lot more magic than deltarunes humans and monsters even with a physical body. 

I feel as though they may sort of count as monsters in that regard. Since they're made up of magic and their bodies sort of turn into dust (crumbs in this case) when they die/crumble. They probably do have determination, it could be a case like Susie's or they just count as their own sort of thing

Cookies might change in size in the dark world? 

Here’s a sketch on how it would theoretically work.  

As much as I like the idea, I'm more attached to the idea of these little dinky cookies always being these tiny little things. The Dark World to my understanding doesn't drastically change Lightener's bodies except their hair and skin (or dough in this case) color. It's mostly just apparel stuff.
